- Start with the center letter and mentally pair it with each surrounding letter to trigger word associations
- Look for common prefixes and suffixes: -ING, -TION, -ED, -ER, UN-, RE-, PRE-
- Find the longest word first — it's worth the most points and often reveals shorter words within it
- Don't spend too long on one word. If nothing comes to mind in 5 seconds, move to a different letter combination
- Common letter patterns: TH, SH, CH, QU, CK, -IGHT — scan for these in the available letters
- After the timer, review the words you missed to build vocabulary for next time

Common English dictionary words are accepted. Proper nouns, abbreviations, and hyphenated words are not valid. The word list follows standard Scrabble-style dictionary rules.
Can I use a letter more than once?

Is there always a 9-letter word?
