Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no fee and no account. Copy the code and paste it into your page.
Does it show ads or set cookies?
No. The puzzle box shows no ads and sets no cookies. We count how often it loads with cookieless page statistics, and the browser remembers the day's progress on that device so a player can come back to it.
When does the puzzle change?
A new puzzle appears every day at midnight, in each player's own time zone. Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day, which makes it easy to talk about.
Where do I paste the code?
Most website builders and library guide systems have an "Embed", "HTML" or "Custom code" block. Add one where you want the puzzle and paste the code into it.
Can I change the size?
Yes. Change height="800" in the code if your page needs a taller or shorter box. The puzzle shrinks to fit narrow columns and phones.
Do I have to keep the credit line?
It helps players find more free puzzles, so we would be grateful if you keep it, but it is up to you.
